Jennifer James, CSEP, the President and CEO of Jennifer James Events has been in the event industry for over ten years. During that time she has worked on small to large-scale events throughout AB, BC, SK and Quebec.
Prior to moving into events, Jennifer worked in the catering and the film production industry which provided a solid foundation and perfect segue way into her current career. Some of Jennifer’s passed and current clients include the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, PwC, EnCana and Petro Canada. She has been integral in executing everything from grand openings to tradeshows and from corporate Christmas and Stampede events to large scale events occurring in multiple locations across the Country. Jennifer earned the international accreditation of a Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) in 2012.
Jennifer’s background includes a diploma in broadcasting from Mount Royal University (MRU), a certificate in Film Production from the Vancouver Film School and a certificate in Event Management also from MRU. More recently, she has had an opportunity to give back to her profession by teaching Intro to Event Management at MRU.
Jennifer believes she is truly blessed to have found a career that she is so passionate about. Working with every client and project has been both an opportunity to grow and allow others to shine. She enjoys every aspect of her industry and has great respect for the strides her and her colleagues have made as event professionals over the years. Jennifer loves to help create experiences that will live with people forever.
Jennifer is a mother to her beautiful son and when she is not engaged in her work, she spends time with her family and loves to travel across the globe.
